Jefferson Woodworking has been making oval boxes, inspired by those produced by the early American Shaker communities, since 1983. Their specialty is the use of many varieties of wood, a number of them found in the local area. Lance & Karen's efforts in obtaining these woods, and in having them milled by an attentive sawyer, yields an array of boxes made of woods that are simply not obtainable through regular lumber markets. From Walnut & Maple through the exotic and lusterous Koa wood from Hawaii these superbly crafted boxes will be a delight in any setting.
