The combination offers a strengthening torsional matrix which protects the shaft and returns your energy to the blade, where you want it. No charge, optional, counter-balance lightens oar in the lock as well as points the blade up when floating, for easy spotting if the oar goes over-board. 5 1/2" x 30" laminated Douglas fir with a epoxy metal mesh cross-tip spline, makes up the S/P blade of the MX-F. Your choice of shaft diameter although smaller diameter shaft is available only to 10' length.
